The meeting was called to order at 7:35 PM.
May 1st meeting were approved.
TREASURERS REPORT
$160,000 - unaudited.
Minutes of the
MILTON STREET PARK
Bids for construction were awarded. Ridgewood Landscape came in
with a bid of $117,104. Mark Mailes will go to City Council on
Monday for approval. It will take 30-60 days after approval to
start construction, giving a September start date.
FOURTHFEST
Connie Spencer updated on plans for July 4th Celebration for
Chairman Sarah Ballenfant. Bike Parade, Games at Colonial Park
Pool, and live music planned. West U Rotary is going to sell
barbecue. Parks Board members encouraged to come out and support.
NEW BUSINESS
Carol Burke opened the floor for suggestions on how to honor
Bill Hall in Milton Street Park. It was suggested the boat
planned for the park to be named the S.S. Hall.
Motion was made, seconded, and approved unanimously to adjourn the
meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 8:05 PM.
