Minutes of the January 4th meeting were approved. Treasurer's Report Jere Ahrens gave an unaudited treasurer's report for the Friends at $115,000 Park Lover's Ball Linda Gray of the Friends Board gave a brief update on the Park Lover's Ball scheduled for February 11th. She requested that each Park Board member volunteer to assist before, during, and after the ball. A volunteer sign-up sheet followed. Milton Street Park David Stanger presented the design for Milton St. Park. His original cost estimate for the plan was approximately $140,000. After much discussion, several ideas were formulated to reduce the cost, but not the integrity of the plan (see attached for a complete break-down of reductions). It was decided more money may be needed although a better determination could be made after Park Lover's Ball. Jere Ahrens made a motion to approve the design and to begin the construction documents.
