Board of Directors' Meeting
January 31, 2001
Leah Ragiel's Rent House

1. The meeting was called to order at 6:15 P.M. Those in attendance were: Linda
Gray, Joni Fichter, Rochelle Maffett, Gayle Jackson, Sherry Gift, Alisa Starbird,
Donna LaMond, Corey Brown, Mark Mailes, Karon Dubose, Will Bertron and Ann
Martin. Also in attendance were various members of the Park Lovers Ball
committee.
2. The minutes of the January 3, 2001 meeting were approved.
3. Treasurer's Report: No report
4. Reports:
a. Foundations: No report
b. New Events: Karon reported that there would be a Homeplace meeting on
March 1. Everyone was encouraged to enlist the help of those who might
be interested in helping to host this event
c. Pavers: No report
d. Randall's Card: No report
e. Water Bill Check Off. No report
f. Public Relations: No report
g. Park Lover's Ball: Sherry and Donna discussed different areas that
needed attention during the night of the Ball. Sign up sheets were passed
Members present then worked various projects pertaining to the Ball.
h. Gof Shirt Sales: No Report
5. Old Busienss
6. New Business: Depository Agreement The following was unanimously passed
by the Board: Be it resolved by the Board of Directors of the Friends of West
University Place Parks, that the Friends of West University Place Parks' bank
accounts be included as part of the City of West University Place for the purposes
of the City's Banking Depository Agreement.
7. Adjournment: The official meeting was adjourned at 7:30.
