Board of Directors' Meeting
March 5, 1997*6:30 PM*City Hall
AGENDA
1. The meeting was called to order by Linda Gray at 6:40 p.m.
Members present were: Mark Mailes, Cindy Sparkman, Kim Wilson,
Carolyn Rappazzo, Gayle Jackson, Linda Gray, Janet Loulingle,
Mary Hay, Bill Findlay and Ann Martin.
2. Approval of minutes of January 8, 1997 - Kim Reid made a motion
to approve the minutes and Linda Gray seconded.
3. Treasurer's report - There is a balance of $309,205.69
4. Committee reports.
a. Foundations - Cain, Cullen and Houston Endowment have not
made a contribution. The Hobby Foundation contributed
$1,000.00. Linda Gray has foundation packets for new
foundations. Linda discussed what members of the board
were to tell the foundations. A foundation was assigned
to each member.
b. Park Lover's Ball - The ball was very nice. Discussed
auction items. Liked scanning process of auction items as
it made check out much faster.
5. New/other business.
a. Parks Naming Guidelines - Discussed naming of parks.
6. Adjournment - Gayle Jackson made a motion to adjourn the meeting
and Mark Mailes seconded to adjourn the meeting.
