BOARD OF DIRECTORS' MEETING
MARCH 6, 1996 ` 6:15 pm ` CITY HALL
AGENDA
Board members present were Ross Frazer, Dan Cooper, Beverly Loftis, Harry Bristol,
Carolyn Rappazzo, John Putnam, Cindy Sparkman and Jeannie Marosis.
1. The minutes of 02/07/96 were corrected. The printing price for the Park Lover's
Ball's programs was not doubled.
2. Treasurer's Report - Report was passed out to Board Members.
3. Committee Reports
Mitkoffs underwrote the band for the Park Lovers Ball. Congratulated Beverly
Loftis on a well done job on Park Lovers Ball.
a. Foundations - Ross Frazer
Russ Schulze suggested we ask for smaller amounts of money. Ask for
matching grants from foundations.
b. ParkFest - Suggested another organization sponsor ParkFest.
c. Grassroots - Mark Spradling.
4. New/other business
Honor Steve Radick for contribution to parks. Made a motion by Cindy Sparkman
and seconded by John Putnam to thank Steve Radick for contribution to the parks.
All but one approved.
Ann Martin, Mary Haynes and several other people were suggested to be asked to
be members of the Friends of West University Parks.
Amounts were suggested to have a park named for an individual.
Motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting.
