The Senior Services Board met in the Senior Wing of the Community
Building.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Dorothy Rieger, Chairperson.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes were approved as read.
MONTHLY REPORT
The monthly report was read by Sharon Reusser.
TREASURER'S REPORT
The treasurer's report was read by Randy Hardy.
MEALS ON WHEELS
Tom Malloy reported that there are 52 clients for the Sunshine
Meals service. Twenty-seven pay in full, Senior Services pays for
four meals, thirteen pay in part, and eight are served without
charge. He also said that a full financial report of Meals on
Wheels will be available after the March 28 meeting of the Meals
on Wheels Board. Also to be furnished later is a report on the
availability of a trust bequeathed to Meals on Wheels.
COUNCIL MEETING REPORT
Dorothy Rieger reported that she received no Council response to
the Senior Services Board letter concerning waste management. She
said the letter read by Bobbi Hardy also received no comment.
After conversations with the Mayor and Teresa Folger, she
concluded that they had not decided what to do about the problem.
OLD BUSINESS
Dorothy Rieger also reported that at the Tree Ordinance meeting
builder and contractors spoke against the ordinance and others
pointed out the cost of removing trees. Another speaker pointed
out that crepe myrtles are being planted at times to replace oak:
trees.
NEW BUSINESS
Sharon Reusser reported that M.D.Wickerham said he could no longer
be the AFAIC representative. A general discussion was held about
wether or not the post should be filled.
Tom Malloy, Ruth Nelson, Ida Feu-, and Randy Hardy volunteered for
the St. George food delivery.

Dalia Stokes moved to adjourn; Randy Hardy seconded.
