The Senior Services Board met in the Senior Wing of the Community Building.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting Chas called to order by Dorothy Rieder, Chairperson.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes were corrected to read that the Zoning Board had decided to Iirnit the amount of
open area that can be used for porches.
MONTHLY REPORT
Sharon Reusser read the monthly report.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Randy Hardy read the treasurer's report
MEALS ON WHEELS
Tom Malloy reported on the rr*eting of the S un-shine Meal, Advisory Committee and also
discussed a possib le name change from Meals on `heels to Sunshine Meals.
COUNCIL MEETING REPORT
Dorothy Rieder reported that plans for a youth center attached to the Community Building have
been upped.
NEW BUS INES
The Board voted unanimously to request that L baron Aeusser --trite a letter expressing the
Board's desire to have the name MeaIs on Wheels changed to S unshine Mea Is. The motion
was passed subject to the approval of Dalia Stokes.
Ida Feux, Randy Hardy and Dorothy Rieger volunteered for the September meal deliver/.
John Monahan made a motion for Jack Myers to serge as the representative to the Leadership
Forum. Ruth Nelson seconded. The motion passed.
OLD BUSINESS
5 haron Reus,,er reported on the cost of the proposed Senior &Yices Banner. A motion
passed that the Board spend $125 plus the cost of the grommet for the banned.
Five Board members gill attend the Leadership Forum's party honoring volunteers.
