CALL TO ORDER The rroeedng was called to order by John Monahan, in the absence of the Chairperson, Dorothy Reiner. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes were approved as read. MONTHLY REPORT The report was read by Sharon Reusser who also discussed the announcemeW, TREASURER'S REPORT The treasurer's report was read lyy Randy Hardly- SUNSHINE MEALS ON WHEELS Tom Malloy announced that S unshine heals on Wheels is the official nary of the organization and that it is one of four units of the CC S C- He also reported that the West Uniyers-ity meals group had given CCS D $24,000. The S unshine Meals on Wheels is now trying to expand its eryices beyond the present4 0 c Iients in West UnNKa its°. COUNCIL MEETING REPORT Council discussed moving recreation activities to a number of locations, including the Scout House, council charmers, borrc w.d church meeting rooms and the Fire Department day room, dicing renoyations to the community center building. OLD BUSINESS Ida Feux discussed the problem of grater run off caused by the overbuilding on city VA. There was a general discussion concerning the problem and the meffiods through which senior might let the city council know about the extent of the problem in the city. NEW BUS INE S S Sharon Reusser announced the dates of the closings for ThanksgiYing holidays. S he also announced that the Thanksgiving baskets mould be deliYered November 21. A discussion followed concerning tf to cortent of the baskets. 'ytest University calendars are for sale in the Senior Services office.
