The Senior Services Beard met in the Senior `ding of the Cc*mmun0y Building.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by the Chairperson, Dorothy Rieger.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The mimes we e read by the secretary. John Monahan moored to accept the minutes; Tom
Malloy seconded.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
The announcements were read by Sharon Reusser.
MONTHLY REPORT
The rnonthly report eras read by Sharon Reimer.
SUNSHINE MEALS ON WHEELS
Tons MaIloy reported that the directors of the S unshine MeaIs on WheeIs and the Meals on
Wheels have resigned. No replacements had been announced.
CO NCIL MEETIN REPORT
Dorothy Rieger r€. orted that Council business included requests by cor&actors and developer.

OLD BUSINESS
S haron Reusser reported that the new city automobile arrived; however, it had to be returned to
the dealer for repairs. She also said that renovations to the Oommungy ;enter may be
completed by the middle of ,.tune, according to the contractor. She briefly outlined renovations
completed and still to be accomplished.
NEW BUSINESS
Jack M&yers was on vacation the ;week of the Board meeting.
Sharon Reusser will streak to the Bellaire RP about available services, such as a day care
center for the elderly, respile care, and hospice cage.
The Senior Services offi es will be closed for Memorial Day-
Da lia Stokes descrted Elder Law, a recent publication of the Houston Bar Association Elder
Law c~omm~ee.
Randy Hardy said he is considering a slide or video presentation about Senior Services for use
in community presentations.
The Board disci issed deYeloping a brochure that weu0 describe the .ie range of services
provided by Senior Ser;rices. Leonard Townley offered to assist in the design and determining
costs. A decis, ion was Made to explore the brochure's feasibility. No Yofe vas taken.
