CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mary Lee Gray.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The secretary read the minutes. Ruth Nelson motioned that the minutes be approved.
TOUR
The group toured the West U police and fire departments.
PREVIEWS AND MONTHLY REPORT
Sharon Reusser read the previews. In the interest of time, Dianne Rogers motioned that
the monthly report not be read.
TREASURER'S REPORT
The treasurer's report was not read to allow more time for discussion of the upcoming
project.
OLD BUSINESS
1. The final cost of the 4 plaques for outgoing members was $165.00
1 Dianne Rogers is the new representative to the Area Agency on Aging's APAC
(program advisory council).
3. Board project: Ruth Ann Wissel made the motion that the board undertake the 911
emergency magnet project. It is estimated that as many as 1800 magnets will be
distributed. The target date is the second week in March (March 8-14). Three
committees were formed. Committee work will begin with the December meeting.

NEW BUSINESS
1. Thanksgiving holidays are Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28.
2. The December board meeting conflicts with the Senior Services trip to Old Town
Spring, but committee work on the 911 project can begin as scheduled.
