CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by the Chairperson Gray at 2:35.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the April 9, 1998 meeting were read by the secretary. Tom Malloy
moved approval.
PREVIEWS AND MONTHLY REPORT
Sharon Reusser read the previews. Lola Brooks moved the approval of the
previews. Motion carried. Members are to review the monthly report on their
own.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Sharon Reusser read the treasurer's report. Dianne Rogers moved the acceptance
of the treasurer's report. Motion carried.
AARY
Ruth Ann Wissel gave the AARP report.
SUNSHINE MEALS
Tom Malloy gave the Sunshine Meals report.
SUNSHINE MEALS

APAC
Dianne Rogers gave the APAC report.
CITY COUNCIL
Dorothy Zink gave the City Council report
OLD BUSINESS
1. Mini-bus purchase: The bus was approved by City Council and has been
ordered. Delivery is expected within 6-10 weeks.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Needs Assessment Project: The focus groups and telephone survey will be
carried out in July and August. Volunteers are needed to attend groups and to
make phone calls.
2. City Beautification Project
3. The office will be closed Friday, July 3.
4. Greeting Card Program: The possibility of starting a "We Care" committee to
send cards and make calls will be taken up after the needs assessment is done.
