New Business: Dorothy Zink has asked the Board to a compose letter to City Council about the
skateboarding problem. Mayor Lewis indicated the Council is well aware of the problem and
actively seeking a solution. The possibility of creating a "skateboard environment" has been
looked at in the past, but the issue of city liability has placed this issue on the back burner for the
present. The idea of creating a Planning Committee to address such issues was discussed, as
well as a need for such a Committee to allocate present and future space for Senior Services staff
and activities. Stan is still working on obtaining possible free computer training with Houston
