3/13/2003
Meeting called to order at 2:00 PM.
Attendees: George Harbeson, Mary Ryerson, Maureen Beck, Joe Graf, Ken Moore,
Jeannine Bergt, Betty Aillet and Elizabeth Young. Staff present was Janiss Stump. No
Council members were present. Absent were Ann Bertini, Tom Malloy, Anne Hershiser,
John Neighbors and Stan McCandless.
Previous meeting's Minutes were read and approved.
Previews and Sneak Previews were reviewed.
REPORTS
Sunshine Meals: A search for a new meals coordinator continues.
Recycle Meeting: No report.
APAC: No report
Council Meeting Report: No report.
Good Neighbor Team/Flying Squad Report: Will meet next Thursday to discuss
Easter.
Activity Report: Bingo is bringing in 30 to 40 people. There is also a good turnout for
exercise. The glass factory trip was very interesting. The numbers participating are
going up across the board.
Hi Neighbor Newsletter: Paper should be completed by Saturday. Still need input.
Previous Business: None
New Business: Reimbursement for program certification class for Patsy was discussed
and approved. Board elections are corning up soon and there will be places to fill. Our
building may be closed in August, and alternative meeting places were suggested such as
the Scout House, the church, City Hall or the library. An excellent hand out on "Found
Money" via the internet was passed out, and it was recommended all efforts be made to
bring it to the attention of our Seniors.
