2. Tuesday, October 17: Mini-bus trip to Clayton Library as a follow-up to the
October 10th genealogy seminar. 2:00 - 4:00. Free

4. Thursday, October 19: AARP monthly meeting with guest speaker: Patricia
Pullins on "The Effects of Medications on the Elderly." 2:00 - 3:30. Free

A. Defensive Driving Class. 9:00 -1:00. Last one of the year. $10.00.
B. Parkinson Foundation monthly lunch, program and support groups.
11:00 - 2:00. Free.
6. Tuesday, October 24:
A. Garden Club. 10:30 - Noon. Free.
B. IMAX movie: "Wolves" Leave at 2:00 for the 3:00 show. $4.00.
7. Friday, October 27:
A. Defensive Driving. 9:00 -1:00.
B. Senior Program at the MFA on 19th Century German art. 9:30 - Noon.
$1.00/$2.00.
C. Poetry reading and writing at the library. 1:00 - 2:30 Free.
8. Tuesday, October 1: Great Books Discussion Group. Noon -1:30. Free.
9. Wednesday, November 1: Day trip to Alvin for antiquing and a visit to the
Bayou Wildlife Park. We will stop at Froberg's Farm for fresh fruits and
veggies should the group wish. Lunch with the animals is included in the
price. 9:00 - 4:00. $12.00.
10. Tuesday, November 7: Election Day. No activities in the Community
Building.
11. Wednesday, November 8: Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. 11:30-1:00.
Invitations to be mailed soon.
12. Thursday, November 9: Next Senior Services Board meeting. 2:30 - 3:30.
