Mercer. Entertainment begins at 11:00 with a hot lunch to follow. 11:00 -
1:00. $2.00.
2. Wednesday, December 20:
A. Garden Club Party. Celebrating with a covered dish lunch. 10:00 - 1:00.
B. Lunch Bunchers to Darby's on D'Amico. 12:00 - ?
3. Thursday, December 21:
A.AARP holiday luncheon and program. Noon to 2:30.
B. The ceramics class will have a covered dish party from 12:30 - 2:30.
4. Friday, December 22: Mini-bus trip to watch the skaters at the Dynegy Ice
Plaza at the Wortham. 10:00 -11:30. Free
5. Thursday, January 04: Mini-bus trip to view the Voyages of Discovery
exhibit at the HMNS. Will have a guest docent from The Houston Maritime
Museum. Last three days! 1:00 - 3:30. $3.00.
6. Friday, January 05: First of Friday afternoons at the MFA. Part One on
William Merritt Chase today with Part Two on Friday the 12th. 1:00 - 3:00.
Free.
7. Wednesday, January 10: Day trip to Beaumont for a re-enactment of the
Spindletop Blowout - only using water, not oil. Ex- Pres. Bush, senators and
ambassadors scheduled to speak. Lunch at a local restaurant. 8:00 - 5:00.
Price to be announced.
8. Thursday, January 11: Next Board Meeting. 2:30.

1. Tuesday, January 16:
A. UTMB student nurses are back getting college credit studying our
community.
B. Sherman Yehl to present a seminar to introduce the house renovation
project funded by HUD grant monies. All ages invited. 2:00 - 3:00.
