4. Monday, January 21: The Masked Ball at The Lambert in The Heights.

5. Tuesday, January 22: Day Trip to Lake Jackson. Visits to Sea Center
Texas and the historical museum. Lunch at a new local restaurant. 9:30 -

6. Wednesday, January 23: Fire Marshall, Al Collins, presents a seminar for
all ages on fire safety, and fall prevention. He has free smoke detectors if
needed. 10:00 -11:30. Free.
7. Tuesday, January 29: IMAX film on Bears. 3:00 - 5:15. $4.00/$4.50.
8. Friday, February 1: A First Friday Lecture Series at the MFA for all
adults on native American art from the Stark Museum. 9:30 - noon. Price
varies upon membership level.
9. Friday, February 1: The AARP volunteers are geared up to help you take
care of your paperwork. Reservations are necessary. 10:00 -1:00. Every
Friday through April 12. Free.
10. Wednesday, February 6: An all ages seminar presented by the Dispute
Resolution Center. If you have a tiff, talk about it; you don't have to go to
court. 10:00 -1:00. Free.
11. Tuesday, February 12: Great Books Discussion Group. Noon -1:30. Free.
12. Wednesday February 13: KARTS SecondWednesday music series at the
Montrose museum. 11:30 -1:30. Bring sack lunch. Free.
13. Thursday, February 14: Next Board Meeting. 2:00.
