1. Friday, July 12: Mini-bus trip to the recently opened Houston Center for
Contemporary Crafts. They are exhibiting a Chicago artist's glassware and
there should be other artists - in - residence working on their arts. 10:00-
12:30. Free.
2. Wednesday, July 17:
A. Mark Miller gives an all ages seminar on his book "Extraordinary
Encounters in an Ordinary Life." 10:00 -11:00. Free.
B. Lunch Bunch going to Noon - 2:30.
3. Thursday, July 18: Good Neighbor Team meets at City Hall. 2:00 - 3:00.
4. Friday, July 19: Parkinson's Foundation of Harris will have their monthly
program, luncheon, and support groups. 11:00 - 2:00. Free
5. Wednesday, July 24: All ages seminar given by Virginia McNeely from Estate
Sales Management. 10:00 -11:30. Free.
6. Thursday, August 1: Our second trip to the Museum of Printing History will
highlight WWI posters and printings, a Columbian artist and much more. A
docent will be available for our tour. 1:30 - 4:00. Free, however donations are
gratefully accepted.
7. Friday, August 2: Linda Wise with the Positive Changes Hypnosis Center will
give an all ages seminar on how to help yourself through hypnosis. Lose
weight- sleep better- stop smoking- whatever! 10:00-11:00. Free
8. Thursday, August 8: Next board meeting 2:00-3:00. Free.
Sneak Preview:
1. Friday, August 9: Precinct Three Bus trip to Katy Mills Mall with a tour of
Nelson Watergarden. 8:00 - 4:00. $3.00.
2. Tuesday, August 13:
A. Great Books Discussion Group. Noon -1:30.
B. IMAX film on Australia. Time to be announced.
