1. Friday, April 2nd and 9th: AARP Tax Assistance. This is a
wonderful free service. 10:00-2:00_(by_appointment only). Free
2.- Wednesday, April 7th: Photo Fest. This-year's-annual-celebration
will focus on Water. After the tour we will have lunch at the
Spaghetti Factory. Tour free-you pay for lunch. 10:00
3. Wednesday, April 13th: Museum of Fine Arts. This month we will
enjoy the live musical performance entitled, What's Life Without
Music? 10:00. Free
4. Wednesday, April 14th: Brenham. Join us as we travel to this
historic site to tour the Blue Bell Creameries, a miniature horse
farm, and the Antique Carousel. 8:00-5:00. $25.00
5. Friday, April 16th: Dance Concert. This is a wonderful
production with some well-known dancers like The Repertory
Dancers, and The World Dance Ensemble. 9:30. Free.
6. Monday, April 19th: Longevity 101. Dr. James Weiss of the
Houston Longevity Institute will share some significant
information about nutrition, diet and exercise. 2:00 Free.
7. Tuesday, April 20th: Imax: This month's Imax will focus on
Kilimanjaro: To The Roof of Africa. 11:00. $4.50
8. Monday, April 26th: Blood and Money Guided Tour. This popular
tour will include the scoop on Houston's high-profile murders
involving money. 9:30-2:00 $10.00 (pays for tour only).
9. Thursday, April 29th: Theme Meal: Cinco de Mayo. We will enjoy
a real mariachi band, Mexican cuisine, wonderful decorations and
fun, fun, fun! 11:00. $4.50
Sneak Preview:
1. Tuesday, May 181n: Annual Health Fair. This year will be the
best ever-lots of new vendors, diagnostic tests, state of the art
technology, door prizes and plenty of goodies for all. 9:00-1:00.
